Junior High JaM (Jesus and Me)
Our group of 6th-8th grade youth and friends meets from 6-8 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month during the school year for a time of fellowship, devotional study and worship, play and refreshments. Additional scheduled activities include: Participating in the Central Illinois District (LCMS) Lockin, a half-night spring party, and an overnight retreat that includes hiking and caving at Maquoketa Caves State Park in Iowa.
Junior High Camp
This annual summer camp is at Great Oaks Camp in Lacon, Illinois. It meets from a Sunday afternoon to a Wednesday morning. Youth going into 6th-9th grades in the fall after camp are invited to participate and friends are always invited! High school youth are invited to serve as youth leaders for the camp. A variety of activities take place including Bible study and worship, group building initiatives, high ropes experiences, hiking and fishing, a service project, free time and just an all around great time with friends in the middle of summer.
High School Something Different
Freshmen through senior youth get to hang out on the last Sunday each month during the school year from 5:30-8 pm. There is a great meal, time for good play and conversation, and creative Bible study and worship. Friends are always invited. There are also additional activities throughout the year including 1/2 night parties, service projects, and local activities in the Peoria-area.
National Youth Gathering
The major trip happens every three years with the 2019 gathering set for in Minneapolis, Minn. Go to lcmsgathering.com for more information.
